PETER PASSED AWAY ON SATURDAY. TALKED TO HIS SISTER, DENISE. SHE AND HER DAUGHTER WERE WITH PETER WHEN HE PASSED. SHE WANTED TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED PRAYERS. HE IS NO LONGER SUFFERING.
BOTH PARENTS PRECEDED HIM IN DEATH. DENISE IS HIS ONLY SIBLING. PRAY FOR PEACE AND COMFORT FOR DENISE AND HER ENTIRE FAMILY.

This Sunday, 8/29/2021, we will have our Annual Joint Outdoor Church Picnic with Christ Church of Redford at their church location, 14350 Wormer Street, Redford, MI 48239, at 11:00 AM.
We’re asking all attendees to arrive at 10:30 AM, which includes those who are bringing items (such as food, games, etc). In the past, this picnic was held at Capitol Park, off of Beech Daly in Redford, but Christ Church was unable to secure the site this year. Please treat this service as a “picnic,” meaning picnic-type dress wear, bring your own lawn chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, coolers (If you choose to bring your own cold items), etc.

The worship service will start at 11:00 AM, and the dining will probably start at 12:00 Noon. In case of rain, the entire service will take place inside the church.
Sunday, it was announced that this event would not be broadcast on ZOOM. That announcement was in error. The event will be broadcast on ZOOM, but the ZOOM link you receive in the email will be Christ Church’s ZOOM link, and not CFC’s. You can look for the email containing the ZOOM link around 10:45 AM.
